Youth Ministries in Italy Joins enditnow® And Says No to Violence

Italian young people make enditnow® video spot viewed across Europe on social media.

Inter-European Division (EUD)

[Italy] From November 19, 2020, Adventist web sites (HopeMedia Italia, Women’s Ministries, Youth) and social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) are sharing the enditnow® video spot made by the Adventist Youth Ministries of the Italian Union, for Women’s Ministries (WM). The video gives a simple and essential message, but it is direct and effective. WM have involved the Youth Department for the enditnow Emphasis Sabbath that is observed on November 21 in Italy.

The video can be easily understood in the various countries of the EUD territory, because the enditnow logo is in English. Even deaf people are included with a stop violence message in the LIS language.

Originally, the idea was to create a video with groups of young people of some Adventist churches. The restrictions for preventing the spread of the Sars-CoV-2 virus required a change in the project. Young men and women in separate locations are seen saying, “No to violence,” and “End it now.” The trademarked name of the world church initiative, enditnow, is spoken in English in the video and can be understood in any country.
